90 g hazelnut spread
2 tbsp cocoa powder
125 ml double cream
250 ml full fat milk
2 tsp vanilla powder
½ tsp salt
3 large free range egg yolks

STEP 1

Add all ingredients except egg yolks to a pan. Gently heat to a boil, stirring often, then remove from heat and let cool.

Lightly whisk egg yolks in a bowl. Gradually add the cooled mixture in stages, whisking well each time.

Return to the pan and heat gently, stirring continuously, until the mixture reaches 75°C.

Add to an ice cream tub, replace lid, and freeze for at least 24 hours.

Use the GELATO setting to mix.
